Promoting connection and engagement 

At Searchlight we understand that some students have periods of time when they might struggle to access school or might not be reaching their academic potential. We are well placed and experienced to help students re-engage with school after a period of absence or disengagement. Our re-integration interventions are designed to improve attendance and engagement levels and serve as a link between home and school for students that are disenfranchised or may be school refusing.

Meeting needs to achieve success

We can tailor our learning programmes to meet the student's needs as identified in My Plans,  EHCPs and PEPs if required. We understand the expectations and requirements of school, providing session feedback and regular progress updates.

Our teachers offer hourly sessions which can take place at the student's home, in school, in the community or online. We believe communication and collaboration are key to achieving the best possible outcomes for our students and are keen to work with school staff, parents and the students themselves, to this end.

Offering highly skilled and experienced teachers

Our fully qualified and highly skilled teachers have numerous years' school service, enhanced DBS clearance and up to date safeguarding training, amongst other highly relevant CPD, skills and experience to support young people with SEMH needs.  All of our teachers' credentials can be viewed on request.
